Dear Bob,
Mary passed away earlier this morning.
Below is the announcement. I have sent to Dan Sloan as well.
It is with great sadness that, on behalf of her mother Kayoko (Iida) Corbett and her sister, Evelyn Corbett, we are informing you that Mary Corbett passed away peacefully early this morning on Wednesday, November 13th. Mary lived her life with passion and joy and we are grateful for the impact she had on us all.
Along with a family funeral there will be a memorial celebration of the life of our beloved friend on a date and location to be announced. Mary was a bright star in our community and we want everyone to celebrate Mary as the beautiful person she was and share that love with her family. We also want to take the opportunity to recommit ourselves to supporting Evelyn and Mrs Corbett, not just in the coming days and weeks, but for months and years to come. With Mary gone, we are all their family now and we will be busy helping Evelyn and Mrs. Corbett to prepare to the change to their lives without Mary.
Mary is loved by so many friends around the world, and the outpouring of that love shown by all of you and others during this difficult time has been felt and appreciated by Mary’s mom and sister.
Rest in Peace our dear Mary.
